Organizational Meeting: Monday, November 23, 2009 If you would be interested in helping a Boy Scout Troop at St. Andrew, please contact Victor Wunschel, Brian Peabody or Tom Gotschall. At this time, we are actively recruiting Adults and Youth to join the new Troop. We are currently working with Troop 989 as our mentor for building this new Troop. Troop 2006 is operating as a Patrol within that Troop and attending campouts and Summer Camp with Troop 989. Boy Scouting, one of the traditional membership divisions of the BSA, is available to boys who have earned the Arrow of Light Award and are at least 10 years old or have completed the fifth grade and are at least 10, or who are 11, but not yet 18 years old. The program achieves the BSA's objectives of developing character, citizenship, and personal fitness. Scout Oath (or Promise) On my honor I will do my best Scout Law A Scout is trustworthy, loyal, helpful, friendly, courteous, kind, obedient, cheerful, thrifty, brave, clean, and reverent.
